In May, Belvac participated in METPACK 2026, a key event for the global metal can manufacturing industry held at Messe Essen. This international gathering attracted over 7,000 visitors, setting new records for attendance. The exhibition ran from May 5th to 8th and featured more than 350 exhibitors from 32 countries, showcasing technologies and services across the value chain.
Belvac has been a longstanding participant in this fair, consistently introducing innovations that drive the industry forward. This year, Belvac furthered that reputation by exhibiting two cutting-edge machines that captured the attention of industry professionals.
Belvac presented an expanded range of metal container solutions, including the innovative Servo Belvac Necker. This solution is particularly designed to reduce energy usage, supporting can makers’ ongoing sustainability efforts. It features advanced servo motor technology that reduces energy consumption by up to 15% while significantly decreasing can jam downtime.
The Belvac Bodymaker was also displayed, with demonstrations showing it running at up to 400 cpm throughout the event. Available in two models, the BM24 and BM30, the Belvac Bodymaker utilizes a hypocycloid main drive, which features no vertical movements and low ram deviation, ensuring continuous operation at high speeds.
Another highlight of Belvac’s presence at METPACK 2026 was the latest air conservation upgrade kit, which reduces Necker air consumption by 40-60%, aligning with customers’ ESG goals. Belvac also promoted it’s innovative Turnkey Integration solutions for both cans and bottles.
